Dear Officer

Dear Officer Mike,

I admit that I was guilty... Guilty of multi-tasking. I pulled into the grocery store parking lot, got out of the car, unloaded David, locked the car and shut the door ALL while talking on the phone. Right after shutting the door I looked through the window only to see my purse with keys in the side pocket resting on my backseat. What was I thinking? Thank you for coming and saving the day and arriving so promptly! I can't promise that it won't ever happen again but maybe someone else will be on duty. You saved the day and David even made it home for nap time.

Thanks,

Multi-tasking Mommy

Oh no! I always think I'm going to do something like that because it feels like I'm always trying to accomplish a million things at a time...but hey it could have been worse than multi-tasking...the officer could have been in the parking lot watching you pull up while talking on the phone, written you a ticket for it, and then unlocked your door:)

I thought you were going to say you locked David in the car....purse and keys are much better!! Once Tad was out of town and I locked myself out of our house and had to call a locksmith to break into our house...$150 dollars later....hmmm.

Been there, done that...with the car running in the middle of winter. I had a convertible and after a half an hour I could see steam coming off the roof of my car (I had the heater blasting to get the car warm of course). Ah, life is never dull, is it?! :)
