As you may or may not know it has been raining cats and dogs here on the East Coast. Something like 7 or 8 of the last 10 days have been steady rain. Most of those days we decided to stay dry and stay put at home. As a result I got the baking bug. I decided to attempt homemade wheat bread and cinnamon bread. My mother-in-law is a pro at this kind of stuff and the last time we had fresh bread in our house was 6 months ago when she was here. She even ground extra wheat for me to use. With the wheat all ready to go I decided to take a crack at it. I must say it was not as bad as I thought it would be...and I won't admit the extreme quantity of bread of have eaten in the past two days. Learn to make homemade bread....check. So, what is next?

I decided to paint almost every room in my house while it has been raining....learn to quilt....and go crazy with vinyl and wall decor- it has been fun re-using things I have in totally different ways.
