August Adventures

Summer came and went like a blur and I have to document it. It will be easier to update with pictures. So here we go...

Event #1: Christie and John's Wedding! We had so much fun in Colorado celebrating with them. It was a special time to have the family together and they both looked stunning. The only sad part was that David took a big fall on some cement stairs in between the sealing at the temple and the reception. So he had a big goose egg and shiner below his left eye for the reception. He looked like some WWF fighter in his tuxedo and bruised all over.

This was at the BBQ the night before the wedding. It was so fun that Grandma and Grandpa Glover got a picture with their grandchildren that also have Great Grandchildren! Give those kids a few years and they will have a blast together.

Clint had work at the end of August so David and I joined BG at the beach! Thanks BG for such a fun beach house and great company.

We had all seven cousins together and you can tell that for David sometimes it was fun and other times it was tough being one of the youngest. He and his cousin Morgan have a 'love/hate' sort of thing going.

When the beach got hot we hit the docks for some crabbing. After all of the years of practicing on the Chesapeake Bay we were kind of disappointed with our efforts.

Beach, Beach and more Beach. David did not let go of his shovel I think the entire time we were there...and even still here at home it is his favorite toy.

We could not go to South Carolina with out making a stop at HHI and to visit Grandma Morgan. David had so much fun exploring her house. We ventured to Harbor Town just for a old time's sake.

So that is our August in a nut shell. Summer Please Don't Go!
