This past weekend we enjoyed celebrating our ONE YEAR wedding anniversary. Since we did the beach for our honeymoon, we fled to the mountains of Colorado to take in the fall foliage and gorgeous september weather. We spent the weekend in Aspen and had so much fun running, hiking, and we even took a guided bus ride up to the Maroon Bells (One of Colorado's most scenic attractions). We enjoyed walking around the town of aspen, eating dinner at a local restaurant, taking in all of the aspen trees changing colors, and enjoying time to celebrate a fabulous first year of marriage. I love my husband and I am so grateful for the things we have experienced and learned together this year. So many people tell us to enjoy the time that we have while it is just the two of us before life changes more drastically. I think we have done just that. It has been a year full of working hard, playing hard, traveling a bit, and learning what it means to love and cherish each other. I must say, I am one lucky lady---Clint, I love you! Here's to forever and always.

The weather in aspen is very volatile. We headed out on a hike to Cathedral Lake only to turn around 30 minutes later due to thunder and lightning.

Yay one year! Aspen looks gorgeous!!! So now that you have done all that 'living' this year you can focus on some cousins for my kids. Seriously... enough living. Join the rest of us who get no sleep... it's really fun. :)
