25 Random Things

I got tagged on facebook and would prefer to post here, so i am jumping on the 25 things band wagon.  Here we go---

1.  Ever since I was little I was always known to hum or sing while I was eating.  I found great joy in eating and in food and not much has changed---except my waist line of course

2.  I claim to be an East Coast Girl but honestly I have said i could live anywhere....but warmer climates are much more appealing as i get older.

3.  Right now I am patiently waiting for my RN license to transfer states.  They claim 6-8 weeks!

4.  I can't get enough of Duke men's basketball.  I am an avid fan and had season tickets while I was in nursing school.  Yes, I am a Cameron Crazie!

5.  When I get tired at night I hit a complete wall and there is no convincing me to stay up.  I get grumpy.

6.  I have no patience for people that waste my time, are not considerate of other people's time, or customer service or bankers that I have to sit on hold with for hours.

7.  I served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Santiago, Chile and would love to take my husband back some day.  I occasionally get to use my spanish in the hospital setting with patients---but me cuesta!

8.  I am a middle child and often try to keep the peace

9.  I love anything active.  Hike, bike, basketball, golf, tennis, water ski, snow ski, Frisbee, run.  I completed my first triathlon in 2008.

10.  My grandma wanted to name me 'Beema'  as in 'Be my valentine' because I was born on Feb 14th.

11.  I love to play board games.  Our latest favorite are Settlers, Bonanza (bean game), and Ticket to Ride

12.  Confession: I have already purchased my first baby clothes.  Since we don't know the sex yet, I just bought for both!

13.  I am a horrible speller.

14.  My brother gets home from his mission in one week and we can't wait

15.  Before my husband and I started dating, I tried to set him up with my roommate because I thought they were both "so great",  I was just slow to realize that he was my PERFECT MATCH

16.  I love Broadway shows and am so excited to live near NYC to get to see more

17.  I have hiked one of the 7 summits of the world (Mnt. Kilimanjaro)

18.  Clint and I are so excited to be parents

19.  I am grateful to have married into the Kofford family. They are so much fun.  We loved living near them in Colorado!

20.  I lose interest in things quickly, that is why my husband claims I am a 'dabbler' when it comes to crafty things or developing new talents.  I enjoy a little of a lot

21.  I am guilty of using the exclamation point too freely!!!!!!!!

22.  My dream is to someday run a non-profit organization involving something with health care and the Hispanic populations in America. (yes it sounds vague--that is why i am not doing it right now, the idea is still in motion)

23.  I have always been with great friends.  Wherever I have lived there are wonderful people to meet and I am so lucky for all of you that have touched my life and changed it for the better.

24.  I don't really drink soda but on occasion I enjoy a can of fresca or rootbeer

25.  I could go for a cafe rio salad or a burrito from Chipotle right about now

I'll join on the trip to Chipotle or Cafe Rio! And I, too, am guilty of using the exclamation point way too much!!! So fun that you have already purchased baby clothes and I'm glad you're not named Beema. I like Nancy. :)
